Do you dare to take a walk inside a haunted historic old jail? The castle-like Old Historic Brown County Jail was built in 1903 and for the next 78 years, the building served as the county's main jail with a countless number of prisoners processed during that time. Now the jail remains standing as a reminder of all that occurred and during this event come see what goes bump in the night.
Tickets: $10 per person $15 Fast Pass - skip the line! (Fast Pass is available online only). Tickets will be available at www.browncountymuseum.org/events **Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult. **No one can enter without a ticket and signed waiver. **No bags or bulky items will be allowed in jail to aid in the preservation of our artifacts. Please read our rules and guidelines for this event on their website.

Creepy on its own, especially when "haunted"
I have been to the jail many times on their regular museum tours during the day and the jail is just creepy on its own, being over a hundred years old. However in the dark, decked out for Halloween, and people lurking about, it was a heart-racing experience.
